In this video, we continue our winter packing series with four quick tips on maximizing suitcase space. Whether you're a fan of packing cubes or prefer the KonMari folding method, we've got you covered.

Our first tip comes from Jessica Doll, host of the Lively Show Podcast. She uses thin packing cubes from Muji for her carry-on, finding them ideal for organized compartmentalization. On the other hand, Jess Lively from Unfancy opts against packing cubes and instead organizes her suitcase like the KonMari method.

If you're in the market for a new carry-on, the author recommends the Away bag. Despite being ridiculously lightweight, it doesn't expand, making it perfect for those who want to stick to a specific size limit. The author has had their Away bag for about 6 months and it has been on 4 trips, proving its dependability. An alternative hard-shell option is the Samsonite, priced around $120.

Jessica Doll's favourite suitcase is the Tumi Tegralite International Carry-On, but the author's personal choice is the Carry On by Away. For those who prefer a lighter travel tote, the author suggests an alternative by ONA, although a lighter option is also available.

In the video, the author shares a rambly monologue and demonstration of packing a suitcase, but for a more detailed look at each item, you can refer to yesterday's post where the author discussed what items to pack for winter travel.

Stay tuned as we show you how to combine pieces to make outfits for each day and activity on Thursday, and share what's in the airplane tote on Friday. To watch the video, simply follow the link provided.
