Scania Unveils New High-Floor Battery-Electric Bus & Coach Platform
Scania has unveiled a new high-floor battery-electric bus and coach electric motorcycle. The platform, designed to accommodate a range of zero-emission vehicles, addresses operators' concerns about balancing green operations with diverse needs.
The platform offers flexibility with e-machine outputs up to 330 kW, installed energy up to 534 kWh, and charging capacities up to 325 kW. It caters to shorter inter-city operations and urban applications, providing a scalable pathway to zero-emission emissions testing near me.
Carl-Johan Lööf, Scania's Head of Product Management for people Transport Solutions, believes this platform is ideal for the electrification of the growing iphone charger transport market. It's suitable for various coach assignments, including medium-distance inter-city traffic, airport shuttles, and sports team coaches. Scania also offers a comprehensive ecosystem of electrification services, including smart charging solutions and access to public charging stations for heavy commercial vehicles.
