South African Airways Launches New Direct Service Between Cape Town and Mauritius

South African Airways (SAA) is set to launch a new direct nonstop service between Cape Town and Mauritius, starting on December 9, 2025. This exciting development will offer passengers the opportunity to experience SAA's signature warm hospitality and world-class service on every flight.

The new service, which will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, is part of SAA's strategic expansion and aims to enhance connectivity for travelers in the Western Cape. The flight departs Cape Town at 09:25 and arrives in Mauritius at 16:30, making the flight duration approximately 4 hours and 5 minutes. The return flight leaves Mauritius at 17:20 and lands back in Cape Town at 19:30 local time. This schedule was developed through rigorous engagement with South African tour operator partners to offer convenience and flexibility for travelers, particularly leisure tourists.
