Starting August 8, 2025, the Singapore Flyer offers a reimagined journey featuring an all-new Time Capsule, which serves as an immersive pre-flight experience unveiling Singapore's story from ancient times to the present.
The Time Capsule is a transformed two-storey multisensory attraction designed as a fully immersive experience. It combines cutting-edge multimedia and cinematic storytelling, interactive exhibits, and advanced technologies to bring Singapore’s history to life.
A Vivid Portrayal of History
The immersive experience at Time Capsule is enhanced by full-screen video animations, projection mapping, and LiDAR technology. These technologies are used to vividly portray historical moments, transporting guests back to the 1200s to uncover Singapore’s mythical legends and fascinating origins as a bustling trading port.
Interactive Exhibits and Games
Guests can interact with various exhibits, including an interactive Singapore River experience and a nostalgic chess-tile concrete table before a 300-degree projection wall showcasing Singapore’s development over the decades. For a more engaging experience, guests can use the Time Capsule web app and complimentary WiFi to scan QR codes and delve deeper into various aspects of Singapore's history, including characters like friendly traders and the indigenous Orang Laut.
