Luxury Accommodation Debuts in the Core of the Italian Dolomites: Aman
Aman Rosa Alpina Opens Doors to Luxury Mountain Retreat in Italian Dolomites
Aman Rosa Alpina, a newly reimagined luxury hotel in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, has officially opened its doors to guests. The property, located in the mountain village of San Cassiano, is the latest addition to Aman's portfolio and a testament to the group's commitment to creating exceptional hospitality experiences.
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating that Aman Rosa Alpina reflects both the heritage of the region and the essence of Aman. The hotel, which was previously owned and operated by the Pizzinini family since 1939, has been meticulously redesigned by architect Jean-Michel Gathy, using natural materials such as local timber, blackened metal, and Dolomite stone to emphasize a sense of place and spatial serenity.
Accommodations
Aman Rosa Alpina offers 51 rooms, suites, and signature suites, including two new 150 sqm Aman Suites and a 280 sqm Chalet Zeno accommodating up to four guests. The Aman Suite, the property's largest accommodation, boasts two king-bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms with steam showers (one with a soaking tub), a dining area for six, and a large south-facing terrace. Most rooms feature expansive balconies, working fireplaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The Cigar Lounge showcases a curated selection of premium cigars and aged spirits, and the Di Vino Room presents expert-led tastings. In the winter, Aman Rosa Alpina ventures east with Akari, a full Shabu Shabu restaurant serving Japanese hotpot and rare sakes.
Leisure and Entertainment
Guests can enjoy three private cinemas, games rooms designed for different age groups, and a Ski Lounge featuring heated boot racks and curated ski rentals. In the winter, the hotel's Ski Butler service shepherds guests to the renowned Dolomiti Superski area, which boasts about 745 miles (1,200 kilometers) of groomed slopes and 450 lifts.
