Affordable Direct Flights Between Canada and Mexico City Launch in October 2025
Canadian ultra-low-cost airline, Flair Airlines, is set to shake up the travel market with the introduction of thrice-weekly, competitively priced flights between Mexico City and Toronto and Vancouver, starting late October 2025.
The new routes, which will directly compete with Air Canada and Aeroméxico, aim to attract budget-conscious travelers seeking affordable direct service. Flair Airlines will be the first low-cost airline to offer direct connections between Canada and Mexico City.
According to Flair CEO, Maciej Wilk, the new routes have been "highly successful" and have not been negatively impacted by the 2024 visa requirements for Mexican visitors to Canada.
