Kind Borneo CSR Initiative Launched to Empower NGOs Across Borneo
An NGO Gallery event showcased 17 associations and community-based enterprises, with a focus on effective partnerships and securing grants. The highlight was the successful launch of Kind Borneo, a CSR initiative supported by 17 NGOs and over 100 participants. Kind Borneo was founded by Datuk Dr Gandhi and Gracie Geikie, with backing from respected advisors. The initiative aims to become a long-term movement empowering NGOs and creating lasting legacies for communities across Borneo. The launch, held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching and co-located with Business Events Sarawak's Legacy 360 Conference, aimed to embed meaningful CSR initiatives into the business events industry. Amelia Roziman, CEO of Business Events Sarawak, emphasized the broader vision of business events as a force for good. The event was organized by MACEOS Sarawak Region and Borneo Business Connect, with support from BCCK, Place Borneo, IDA, Team Magnifico, and Catcity Holidays. Kind Borneo, launched with 17 NGOs and over 100 participants, is poised to empower NGOs and build lasting legacies for communities across Borneo. The event, which featured an NGO Gallery and pitch presentations, was a testament to the growing importance of CSR initiatives in the business events industry.
