FOR:EV Expands EV Charging Network in Scotland with Starbucks Hubs

FOR:EV, a leading electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure provider, has initiated a significant expansion of charging points in Scotland. The company has started installing rapid charging stations at Starbucks drive-thru locations, with the first two hubs now operational in Livingston and Dunfermline. This move is part of FOR:EV's ambitious plan to create a network of over 1,700 charging points at 600 public sites across Scotland and the UK.

The charging hub in Blairgowrie, set to open later this month, will feature 100kW rapid chargers, capable of charging EVs from 20% to 80% in just 30-40 minutes. Similarly, the hubs in Livingston, Dunfermline, and Galashiels will boast ultra-rapid 150kW C Series chargers, reducing charging time to 20-30 minutes for the same battery level increase.

Calum Wallace, Senior Business Development Manager at FOR:EV, welcomed the new charging points, stating that they make EV ownership more convenient. FOR:EV's expansion is supported by partnerships with Mungo Park and Geddes SIPP. Hamish Rankin, Head of Property at Mungo Park's parent company, The Explorer Group, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with FOR:EV.

FOR:EV's strategic partnership with Starbucks is set to significantly enhance EV charging infrastructure in Scotland. With more installations planned for Galashiels and Blairgowrie later this month, FOR:EV continues its mission to create a comprehensive network of charging points, supporting the growing EV community and promoting sustainable mobility.
