Favorite Picks for Friday, 6th Day of the Month

Hello, peeps! Welcome to yet another excitement-filled Friday! I hope this week has been a riot for you, filled with joy, laughter, and a whole lot of madness! I've been laying low, but don't you worry; I've got plenty of adventure stored up for you!

So, let me fill you in on this epic trip I embarked on while the old man was off gallivanting around. Yup, you guessed it! I was solo parenting like a boss! We flew across the globe to Spain, making stops in Barcelona, and finally settling in the exotic Sevilla.

Before the man got to join us, we had ourselves a girls' trip, and let me tell you, it was freaking fantastic! The girls are getting older, making things a tad less tough for me, but it was still a core memory trip we'll cherish forever.

In Sevilla, we stepped into our cozy Airbnb, right next to a roadside eatery serving up the most succulent chicken known as Pollo Asado. For all the times we had it, it cost us just $11, and it was honestly the best chicken in the world! I can't believe I'll miss it now that we're back home.

We also danced the night away at La Cabonería, a lively spot with live flamenco performances. The tinto de verano was a perfect match, and the flamenco was truly remarkable. Since the man's training finished up just in time, he hopped on a jumpseat to join us for the final days.

The famous Isla Mágica water park and theme park was a massive hit with the kids (and adults too!), and we celebrated Father's Day there with four other families in tow. It was an unforgettable experience that I'll treasure forever.

Shoutout to the bullfighting ring and museum for getting a peek into Seville's rich culture and history. I would never attend a bullfight, but the museum was captivating and added an interesting dimension to our trip.

During our last week, I indulged in some incredible meals, like petting Petra for some--you guessed it-- fantastic tortilla (I did sample a lot, after all!) and a remarkable double date night at Cañabota, boasting posh dishes and smooth service.

Now that we're back in the old grind, I'm back to my weekly Friday Faves! I've got some great fashion, beauty, and random finds I just can't wait to share with you, so stay tuned for that!

I'd love to hear from you! Tell me what you've been up to, and what exciting plans you've got coming up for the weekend! And remember, friends, life's too short to miss out on awesome chicken or amazing flamenco! Until next time,

xoxo
