&Beyond Suyian Lodge (Kenya)
Set to open in July 2025, &Beyond Suyian Lodge will be a remarkable addition to Laikipia, Kenya. Located on 44,000 acres of private wilderness within the rewilded Suyian Conservancy, this lodge promises an unparalleled safari experience.
The lodge features 14 spacious luxury suites, each boasting private plunge pools, personal bars, alfresco showers, and panoramic wilderness views. The architecture combines raw African materials with a contemporary "Afro-Wabi-Sabi" design aesthetic, emphasizing earthy textures, handcrafted details, and local inspirations such as wild dog cladding and Samburu beadwork.
Activities at &Beyond Suyian Lodge include customizable safari experiences, conservation talks, village visits, and black leopard tracking. Wellness offerings feature a wellness center with treatment rooms, steam room, cold plunge pool, yoga studio, and gym, all designed to reflect the local environment and traditions. Dining highlights farm-to-table menus sourced from local seasonal ingredients and the lodge’s own herb garden.
&Beyond Suyian Lodge is a conservation-driven project owned by the not-for-profit Suyian Conservancy Trust and developed with Space for Giants, integrating luxury tourism with deep conservation and community development aims. Common areas include communal bars, terraces, sunlit pools, and shaded courtyards designed to foster guest connection and relaxation beyond the suites.
