In an exciting turn of events, Dean Stokes, a former UK head of Google for Education from Brighton, East Sussex, has embarked on an ambitious roller coaster journey. The 36-year-old is aiming to ride every roller coaster in the UK, visiting 120 roller coasters in 32 theme parks in approximately 16 days.

Stokes's roller coaster adventure kicked off with a ride at Pinball X in Flamingo Park, Hastings, East Sussex, where he was joined by his companion, Jack. The duo's journey has received overwhelming support from fellow thrill-seekers and ride operators, with Stokes's enthusiasm for the rides contagious.

Stokes's roller coaster count reached at least 46 by day seven, and he plans to complete the 120 rides within 9 to 16 days, depending on the source. However, weather disruptions, such as Storm Floris, have caused several theme parks to close, affecting his schedule.

Despite these challenges, Stokes has not formally reached out to Guinness World Records about potentially setting a new record for most roller coasters ridden in a week. However, Guinness World Records has expressed interest in potential world record possibilities.

Accompanying Stokes on this thrilling journey is Simon Fasolo, aged 44. Stokes has been live on TikTok during his drives, often doing quick live streams to keep his followers updated on his progress.

Stokes's main motivation for the roller coaster journey is to inspire others to do more of what they love. He encourages people to follow their passions and not worry about what others think when pursuing something they enjoy.

As Stokes prepares for his last ride at Thorpe Park, he is planning to go live on TikTok. He is also expecting to gather a crowd for this final ride, having received such overwhelming support during his journey.

Stokes previously worked for five years at Google before leaving to set up his own business delivering technology training. His courageous roller coaster journey is a testament to his adventurous spirit and his commitment to pursuing his passions.
