Bunkhouse Hotels, a renowned hotel chain, has joined the World of Hyatt program, allowing guests to earn and redeem points at their unique properties.

Bunkhouse Hotels, recently acquired by Hyatt, are set to join the World of Hyatt loyalty program. By early August, seven Bunkhouse properties will be participating, including Hotel San Fernando in Mexico City (Category 4), Hotel San Jose in Austin, Texas (Category 5), and Hotel St. Augustine in Houston, Texas (Category 6).

These unique boutique hotels are distinguished by their locally inspired design, music-led programming, and community events that create immersive, authentic experiences. Key features include a focus on local culture and music, properties with distinctive regional aesthetics, and an intimate boutique atmosphere, often with neon lights and a soulful vibe reflecting their locales.

World of Hyatt members can look forward to several benefits when staying at Bunkhouse Hotels. These include earning 5 base points per $1 spent and 4 bonus points per $1 spent when charging on the World of Hyatt Credit Card. Nights spent also count toward elite tier status and Milestone Rewards, contributing to faster status advancement.

Members can redeem points for exclusive limited-edition “Find” experiences, such as full hotel buyouts, couples’ retreats, luxury getaways, and curated local experiences involving fine dining, private tours, and unique cultural activities—all accessible via points bidding starting at 5,000 points. Additionally, members can enjoy on-property elite benefits and award chart participation, enhancing the value of stays at these boutique properties.

The acquisition and integration of Bunkhouse Hotels reflect Hyatt’s broader strategy to expand its lifestyle and boutique portfolio, targeting travelers seeking authentic, experiential hospitality with a strong sense of place and community.

Bunkhouse Hotels have a footprint in California, Kentucky, Texas, and Mexico, with several properties located in these regions, enhancing regional authenticity. By joining World of Hyatt, members can enjoy these one-of-a-kind locations, offering experiences beyond just a good night's sleep and a great cup of coffee.

It's important to note that benefits are only available when the property has started participating in World of Hyatt. As of now, four more Bunkhouse Hotels have unknown dates for future participation. The Hotel Saint Cecilia in Austin, Texas (Category 7) and Carpenter Motel in Austin, Texas (Category 5) will start participating on July 16 and July 23, respectively.

Hyatt also acquired The Standard hotels at the same time as Bunkhouse, and these properties are also participating in World of Hyatt. With these additions, Hyatt continues to expand its offerings, providing members with even more opportunities for unique, immersive experiences.

Travelers who prefer immersive, authentic experiences at unique boutique hotels can now benefit from joining the World of Hyatt loyalty program, as Bunkhouse Hotels, known for their locally inspired design and music-led programming, are set to join the program. When staying at these properties, such as Hotel San Fernando in Mexico City, members can earn 5 base points per $1 spent and 4 bonus points per $1 spent when charging on the World of Hyatt Credit Card, contribute to elite tier status and Milestone Rewards, and redeem points for exclusive limited-edition "Find" experiences that offer beyond-average travel experiences, like full hotel buyouts, luxury getaways, and curated local experiences.
