Buckingham Palace's Royal Mews Hosts First-Ever Christmas Pop-Up Shop

Buckingham Palace's Royal Mews, the historic working stables managing the royal family's road travel, is set to host its first-ever Christmas pop-up shop. The event, not a Christmas market as some outlets reported, will open its doors to all visitors for free from November 14 to January 5.

Housed within the Royal Mews are the royal coaches, carriages, and horses, including the iconic Gold State Coach and Windsor Greys. While the idea behind the Royal Mews Christmas Shop is unclear, proceeds from the pop-up will support the preservation and accessibility of the Royal Collection worldwide.

Visitors can expect to find official royal gifts, seasonal treats, and festive fare from the Royal Collection Trust. To add to the festive spirit, seasonal beverages will also be available. A life-sized advent calendar will unveil daily surprises, including new releases and exclusive items.

The Royal Mews Christmas Shop, a first for the historic stables, offers a unique opportunity for visitors to explore royal history and Christmas cheer. With free entry and a variety of festive treats and surprises, it's a must-visit this holiday season.
