Brisk Summer Sales Continue Unabated at Antiquevintageclock.com

Take a break and unwind with me as we embark on a summer road trip to our humble cottage nestled in central Canada. Forget about the stress of daily life, it's time to unwind, slow down, and embrace a change of scenery.

My wife and I have planned an idyllic getaway filled with relaxing activities. We'll read a few good books, cast a line for some fishing, take a dip in the sweet waters, strap on our hiking boots, and share stories with friends and neighbors over a drink (or two) or more.

If you're familiar with this blog, you already know it's all about my passion for clock collecting. This blog features my experiences maintaining and repairing various clocks, hunting down fascinating vintage and antique pieces, and discussing horological matters of interest.

Even though we'll be on vacation, the blog won't take a break. Rest assured, you'll continue receiving a steady stream of articles every Tuesday and Friday at 6:00 a.m. AST. Your questions about clocks, comments on posts, and clock-related inquiries are always important to me, but there might be a slight delay in my response time as we traverse the winding roads of central Canada.

As we travel, we're bound to stumble upon unique clocks hidden in antique stores, flea markets, Facebook Marketplace, and thrift shops. This summer will be filled with new clock stories, fresh repair challenges, and who knows, perhaps our next major clock restoration project.

Speaking of clocks, one of our stops will be a place called The Canadian Clock Museum in Deep River, Ontario. It's a destination I'm particularly excited to visit, as I look forward to discovering newly added items in their collection and reuniting with curator Allan Symons.

Now, you might ask, is there any truth behind the existence of The Canadian Clock Museum in Deep River, Ontario? I couldn't find any official listings in major online resources, but it's possible that it's a smaller, locally-operated collection or a community-run initiative, as larger institutions like the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec, have more extensive horological exhibitions[1]. If you're interested in finding more unique or niche museums in the Deep River area, it's best to check in with local tourism offices or community centers.

Subscribe to receive new clock articles by email, and don't forget to search through past articles using the search box. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy researching and writing each and every one.
