Autumn-Time Explorations of Two Urban Landscapes
Discover the historic city of Marl, Germany, with guided tours scheduled for September and October 2025. These tours, organised by Sylvia and Robert Eggers, will offer unique insights into the city's rich history and cultural landmarks.
On September 27th, the tour will take you to the 'Marler Stonehenge' stone circle and the 'European House of Peace', while also highlighting Marl's town hall and nearby points of interest, all meeting at the 'Non Violence' revolver sculpture at Creiler Platz.
The following month, on October 25th, the tour will delve into the Hüls district, created by mining, and visit the 'Palenberg houses' and the first pharmacy in Marl-Hüls, with the meeting point being Friedrichstraße 25.
For those interested, registrations can only be made at i-Punkt, located at Marler Stern 10d, 45768 Marl (inside the 'Marler Stern' shopping center, upper floor). i-Punkt's office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1 PM.
