The vibrant city of Wuppertal is gearing up for its annual summer festival, a celebration of nature, art, and community that takes place in the heart of the Botanical Garden. From August 1st to August 24th, visitors can immerse themselves in a diverse array of exhibits, interactive activities, and educational workshops.

Over 50 exhibitors from the region will showcase their wares, ranging from gardening essentials and home decor to art and craft items. The flea market is also part of the event, inviting visitors to browse and discover unique finds.

Nature enthusiasts will delight in stands dedicated to topics such as "Nature at Your Fingertips" with the Nature and Environment station, "Seeds and Plants" with the Bergische Garden Arche, carnivorous plants, "Paint Greifzangen" for the "Talputz" with the Environmental Advisory Service, and "Sustainable Handling of Clothing and Shoes" with the Consumer Advisory Service.

The festival also offers a chance to learn about waste management with the AWG, hospice care, holistic health, and hedgehog help. For those with a sweet tooth, grilled snacks, cold drinks, coffee, cake, and an ice cream cart will be available.

Children will find plenty to keep them entertained with creative interactive activities, including a playmobile. The Elisen Tower will be open on both festival days, providing a breathtaking view of the festival grounds, the Botanical Garden, and the city of Wuppertal.

The large book market in the glasshouse remains open until August 24th, beyond the summer festival, offering a chance to browse and find a good read. Due to limited parking, it is recommended to arrive by suspension railway and bus.
